Blog Rush

Internet Marketer John Reese has come up with a jaw dropping widget for bloggers. He’s given it the moniker Blog Rush and is due to be launched today.

All you do is sign up for free and download a small piece of code that sits in your sidebar. This clever widget sits on your blog and displays the five most recent posts in the category that you have chosen to be a part of from all the other blogs that are part of this system.

That means that each time you publish a new post, yours will be displayed on all the other people’s blogs that have this widget installed. that, in turn means a huge potential audience out there seeing a link to your new post!

This will explode every blogger’s reach into the blogosphere and send visitors to blogs they wouldn’t otherwise have known existed.

What a great way of attracting more visitors to your blog! Check it out!

Update 2014: This is another gimmick that I no longer recommend so links have been removed from this page. Don’t be lazy. If you want to interact with other bloggers, go visit their blogs and leave comments, ask questions of offer your own take on problems that need solutions if you have valid knowledge.

The days of adding a bunch of sidebar widgets and software gadgets to try and increase your own traffic and visitor interaction are in the past and should be left to the past. Today’s blogging is more refined and should be aligned with what will help you reach targeted traffic than any other source – the major search engines like Google by conforming to their user and quality guidelines.

Give the Google what it wants and it will not get in the way of you getting what you want – organic search traffic. Do that by writing quality posts that are useful, informative and original.

Since BlogRush is of interest to you, you may also want to check out our AutoRoll widget, which displays links to similar blogs (instead of blog posts) within the AutoRoll network, and because of this, it compliments the functionality that BlogRush offers. Over 6,000 blogs have already registered, so the results keep improving as each day goes by.

If you get a chance to give it a look, then please be sure to let me know what you think.
