Make Money by Writing Part 1

Writing is an enjoyable pastime for me as I not only have the chance to air my thoughts on a variety of subjects that interest me but I make money for doing it as well!

That’s very nice for me, but what about the many people I bump into online that say they simply can’t write? How do they their online time into ways to make money?

Well, I say to anyone who says they can’t write, “Yes you can – you just don’t know it yet.”

Writing may be an art form in itself and there are a lucky bunch of people to whom it comes naturally. But for most of us – me included – we have to learn how to write the hard way. Not that its particularly hard, although at first it mighty seem that way.

Once you get into the swing of it and practise, then you get better all the time. A lot of it comes down to confidence. Once you’ve published your first piece of writing online and had people read it and even comment on how much they enjoyed reading it, then it lifts you to new heights. Of course that doesn’t always happen and you have to write several pieces before someone will come along and tell you they admire your work.

But all the same, once you figure out the basics and then choose a topic that you are very knowledgeable about and interested in, then writing about it becomes enjoyable and not a chore.

Then you can use your new found skill to make money online by submitting your articles to brokering sites like Constant Content who will find a buyer for your work. I personally submit articles to Constant Content and make on average $26 per 500-700 word article. Not bad considering I can write one article of that length in around thirty minutes.

So if you need to make money online and don’t know how – get writing!

I’m going to follow this post up with others (hence the “Part 1” in the title) that will go into more depth about how to make money by writing.
