How to Make Money Online Then Blow a Fuse

Filed Under Make Money | 5 Comments

In my last post here at Make Money Blog, I outlined some of the ways you can use your sites to create methods and techniques on how to make money online. This time around, things have turned rather sour in the world of how to make money online, at least for this blog and its owner.

A while ago, several of my sites were infiltrated bu a hacker who inserted certain malware fields and hidden links into some of my posts. They also managed to upload malware files to my server by finding a crack in its defences. Well, ok stuff happens and I found out about it and took the necessary steps to weed it all out and get everything back to the way it should be.

When something like that happens, it makes me mad to think not only has someone dared to invade my private piece of cyber-space, but that my guard wasn’t sufficiently up enough to prevent it happening. In a fit of anger, I went about deleting all the malware files, code and links.

It was only a couple of days ago I noticed that this site still had some of that crap lurking in its posts, so I went and started getting rid. Only this time, instead of completely vapourising it, I copied some of the code and the long list of links. Out of interest I followed the links to see where they went and the opened a load of MFA pages that were neatly hidden on a domain who’s homepage is nothing more than a logo and a message that the website is under construction.

Well it is certainly that. Constructing a ton of MFA pages with links coming from unwitting victims such as me.

I ran a whois on the domain and it turned up a name, a box number address (what a surprise, not) an email address and a telephone number.

Well, I made a big mistake. I was so pissed that I emailed that address and told them what I’d found – well maybe the owner was an unwitting participant just like me, so I thought I was doing the decent thing by warning her of a possible hack on her domain.

Wrong thing to do, apparently.

I got no response, apart from an email from Bidvertiser to tell me my account had been terminated for generating invalid clicks. I’m currently in heated discussion with their support about this, because I’m not taking this lying down. I can only assume that an account I have had for several months without any problems does not suddenly deveop sufficient “invalid clicks” overnight to cause account termination.

My educated guess is that those invalid clicks were made on this blog. And I have a fair idea who might do such a thing.

Well, people who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

I’m very pissed now, so here are the details of the owner of the malware and domain:

www. miniamo.com.

That domain is owned by:

Victoria Walsh
PO Box 305
Edgecliff, NSW 2027
Australia
Tel: 0415144859
email: victoriawalsh@ciroahomewares.com

If anyone has heard of this person, or better still, knows them, then they should know that Victoria Walsh is a dishonest, not very nice person who has done a very bad thing. There was no need to do what she did. Well she might benefit from knowing that what goes around comes around.

Make Money Fast

Filed Under Make Money | 14 Comments

Following on from my last post here at Make Money Blog, which, lets face it was a pile of garbage designed to attract the scrapers to this site so they could copy the post, hopefully with links intact and publish it on their own sites, thereby giving this blog some link juice for free.

It has minor success as I think even the stupid spammers are cottoning on to the fact that honest Internet marketers are fighting back by doing this same thing.

Oh well, its a dog eat dog system that the spammers continually cause havoc with, so anything that comes back to bite them in the ass is a good thing!

So what’s all this make money fast business?

The title and the numerous references to make money fast that you’ll find in this post are designed to give this blog some authority with regards to the keywords, make money fast. This side of the make money online niche, which is, let’s face it a lousy one to try to make money in, is one of the few that is not so highly competitive just yet and gives me a chance to rank well with some of my sites.

It’s interesting that my sister site Make Money Hints, actually sits on Google’s page one for on of its long tail keywords. The site is how to make money online, which believe it or not is quite highly searched with the words in that order. It did sit right at the top in position one for “fast makemoney” a while before other sites realised and went and probably bought themselves back to the top by buying more back-links. That’s something that I haven’t resorted to, as I don’t think that in this niche in particular that it is money well spent.

I know it doesn’t make the best sense, and “make money fast”, or even “make fast money” are better grammar, nevertheless, the term “fast make money” gets searched just as well as the alternatives. By the way, I just gave that site some more link juice and keyword authority which will help to keep it on page one!

So where should you be looking to make money fast, if not the make money niche?

Well, just about any other niche will do as long as you can research and uncover long tail keywords that don’t have too much competition. That’s the secret to how to make money fast online – make your sites in different niches and sell either affiliate products or use PPC ads like adsense. The prime objective is to use the right web marketing strategies to get ranked highly in the SERPs to attract organic search traffic. That is the key to success. You won’t make a red cent attracting a ton of social traffic from stumbleupon, or digg or any of those sites. People who use those services are predominantly Internet Marketers of at the very least online street-wise and these kind of people know what PPC ads are and don’t click on them. They also know what affiliate links look like and don’t click them either.

Organic search traffic, on the other hand are not so aware and will click your ads to navigate away from your page, making you money. So you have to create an environment on your website or blog that creates this scenario. You need lots of good content to satisfy the search engines in order to rank highly, but that content does not have to be so good.

If you want to make money fast from your sites, this is the single most important part – your content should NOT answer the questions of your visitors. If they find your site in the SERPs because they have a need, you must NOT satisfy that need. Your content must be good, but not so good as to give your visitors what they want, else they will have no need to click you ads. If they land on your homepage and start reading but don’t find they answer to their question, they’ll most likely click an ad if its well placed to navigate away from your page in search of the answer they seek.

This goes against what you’ve been taught and what is deemed to be good blogging practice. You have been brainwashed into believing that you should write your very best content, best grammar, perfectly spell-checked highly informative and full of useful information. I believed this for a long time too. But after over a year of working in this way and NOT making anything like the kind of money that I should have been making, something was obviously not right.

You have two choices and they are separate and distinct.

You either write well and enjoy your blogging and writing and attract a good readership and loyal fans, but don’t expect to make enough money from it to eat.

Or you switch your mode of thinking into make cash fast plan, and stop writing such great stuff and instead write for the search engines. Make your posts long and rambling so they can contain as many of your keywords as possible without stuffing. Don’t actually answer the questions that your post give the impression they are designed to do. And make some money.

This post is quite long enough, so I’ll stop here and will continue this theme in a future post.
