My own site stats are useful too, but the Alexa ranking is what advertisers will ultimately base their financial outlay on when they are ready to use this blog as a media outlet, so it's important to keep promoting hard and obtain and retain a good, regular reader base. Once the Alexa figure is better, I'll display their small banner in my sidebar, just like I do with my The Honest Way blog as it gives an up to the minute snapshot of the ranking. That is a good way of tracking it and I've never seen it anywhere. I'm also amazed how fast your ranking seems to climb!
