Make Money Fast

Following on from my last post here at Make Money Blog, which, lets face it was a pile of garbage designed to attract the scrapers to this site so they could copy the post, hopefully with links intact and publish it on their own sites, thereby giving this blog some link juice for free.

It has minor success as I think even the stupid spammers are cottoning on to the fact that honest Internet marketers are fighting back by doing this same thing.

Oh well, its a dog eat dog system that the spammers continually cause havoc with, so anything that comes back to bite them in the ass is a good thing!

So what’s all this make money fast business?

The title and the numerous references to make money fast that you’ll find in this post are designed to give this blog some authority with regards to the keywords, make money fast. This side of the make money online niche, which is, let’s face it a lousy one to try to make money in, is one of the few that is not so highly competitive just yet and gives me a chance to rank well with some of my sites.

It’s interesting that my sister site “Make Money Hints,” actually sits on Google’s page one for on of its long tail keywords. The site is how to make money online, which believe it or not is quite highly searched with the words in that order. It did sit right at the top in position one for “fast makemoney” a while before other sites realised and went and probably bought themselves back to the top by buying more back-links. That’s something that I haven’t resorted to, as I don’t think that in this niche in particular that it is money well spent.

I know it doesn’t make the best sense, and “make money fast”, or even “make fast money” are better grammar, nevertheless, the term “fast make money” gets searched just as well as the alternatives. By the way, I just gave that site some more link juice and keyword authority which will help to keep it on page one!

So where should you be looking to make money fast, if not the make money niche?

Well, just about any other niche will do as long as you can research and uncover long tail keywords that don’t have too much competition. That’s the secret to how to make money fast online – make your sites in different niches and sell either affiliate products or use PPC ads like adsense.

The prime objective is to use the right web marketing strategies to get ranked highly in the SERPs to attract organic search traffic. That is the key to success. You won’t make a red cent attracting a ton of social traffic from stumbleupon, or digg or any of those sites. People who use those services are predominantly Internet Marketers of at the very least online street-wise and these kind of people know what PPC ads are and don’t click on them. They also know what affiliate links look like and don’t click them either.

Organic search traffic, on the other hand are not so aware and will click your ads to navigate away from your page, making you money. So you have to create an environment on your website or blog that creates this scenario. You need lots of good content to satisfy the search engines in order to rank highly, but that content does not have to be so good.

If you want to make money fast from your sites, this is the single most important part – your content should NOT answer the questions of your visitors. If they find your site in the SERPs because they have a need, you must NOT satisfy that need.

Your content must be good, but not so good as to give your visitors what they want, else they will have no need to click you ads. If they land on your homepage and start reading but don’t find they answer to their question, they’ll most likely click an ad if its well placed to navigate away from your page in search of the answer they seek.

This goes against what you’ve been taught and what is deemed to be good blogging practice. You have been brainwashed into believing that you should write your very best content, best grammar, perfectly spell-checked highly informative and full of useful information.

I believed this for a long time too. But after over a year of working in this way and NOT making anything like the kind of money that I should have been making, something was obviously not right.

You have two choices and they are separate and distinct.

You either write well and enjoy your blogging and writing and attract a good readership and loyal fans, but don’t expect to make enough money from it to eat.

Or you switch your mode of thinking into make cash fast plan, and stop writing such great stuff and instead write for the search engines. Make your posts long and rambling so they can contain as many of your keywords as possible without stuffing. Don’t actually answer the questions that your post give the impression they are designed to do. And make some money.

This post is quite long enough, so I’ll stop here and will continue this theme in a future post.

Domain Names and SEO

This post following on from , is devoted to the fast make money online business of choosing the right domain name for the theme or topic of your blog or website.

Now, as you want to make money fast from your blog and you’ve got yourself some professional hosting set up, you need a domain name that reflects what your blog is going to be about. I can already hear you shouting “But all the best domain names have been taken!” and you’d be pretty well right. Well, almost.

There are still some options open to you.

The first thing you should consider is the bit after the dot. I mean the .com part of your domain. Let’s face it, if you want to be taken seriously in business and make money at it, don’t even consider another extension. Why? Because when a domain name is dropped into conversation, it is ALWAYS assumed to be a .com domain.

Having said that, should you be wanting to build a large portfolio of domains, then other extensions will do nicely as supporting websites to your main sites. But anyway, back to the plot…

That makes it even tougher to find a good, descriptive domain name for your blog without having to resort to one a mile long. Not only does your domain name have to be descriptive, it should also include your main keywords (in the case of this blog, make money) – the search terms that you will expect the most amount of people to type into the Google search box to find blogs like yours. Narrows it down even further, doesn’t it!

The reason for getting your make money online keywords into your domain name is so that when you come to do your on site SEO on your site, it all ties together.

A Concise SEO Lesson:

This is all on site SEO, by the way. Off site SEO is whole other ballgames.

Your main keywords in you domain name should match the main keywords in your site header’s meta tag, your title and your main h1 headings in your text as well as any anchor tags, alt tags, h2, h3… etc tags, as well as bolded text. These are all the places where your keywords should be and they should all match exactly. Aim for a keyword density in your content of above 2% and below 5% and you’ll be about ok – with 3% being about optimum.

Well, to find the right domain name, you have to get creative.

I’d been racking my brains for a relatively short, descriptive and keyword based domain name centred around “make money” with “blog” in there somewhere too for this project. I’d already got the idea of using a subdomain with the keywords in and set up a make money blogsite (a blog that is also a website!), but I wanted to go the whole hog and get a top level domain with the keywords make money and blog.

Imagine my surprise when I did a search on those three words together but not in the right order and found that makeblogmoney.com was not taken! As you can imagine, I jumped at the chance and bought it there and then! So you see, it is possible to find what you want – just don’t expect it to be quite where you thought!

So with a keyword rich domain name, I’ve SEO’d all the tags in the code for this blog and the posts will contain a fair smattering of the keywords “make money” and “blog”. Over time (and now we have to play the waiting game), the search engines will index this blog and once I’ve done a fair bit of off-site SEO, those nice people at Google should (although nothing is guaranteed in this game) bestow a fair Page Rank on this blog, completing the SEO experiment and priming this blog to make money from various sources that I’ll discuss in future posts.
