How to Make Money Online with a Home Business
Everyone who works from home using the Internet as their primary source of income wants to know how to make money online from a home business and be successful at doing it.
Some people are actually doing just that, while the vast majority of people are not.
I'll look at what separates the two.
Those Who Do Not Make Money Online
Those that do not make money online from their home business are the ones who are generally bloggers chasing social traffic to gain a large readership in the hope of either eventually attracting advertising revenue or selling affiliate products or earning money from PPC ads.
They fail because the kind of traffic they are chasing are never going to convert into cash.
Why is this, when all the so-called A-list bloggers are telling everyone that they are making a mint from advertising because they have such a large reader base, which is what the advertisers require in order to spend money on placing their ads on your blog?
Well, actually, advertisers soon realize that the very type of traffic that the A-list is attracting does not convert for them, so they move on. They generally make peanuts from any PPC ads because social bloggers do not click on the ads, and the ones that do rarely convert, which results in your blog being served low cost ads.
One way that the A-list make a lot of money is from new products that are released on Clickbank. Because their readership is huge and made up mainly of bloggers who also want to make money online from blogging, they are an easy target for this or that latest must have money making product or ebook and because of their status and high volume of blogger traffic, they generally get to promote new releases before they are generally released.
This means they steal the march on everyone else, especially when it comes to MLM type sign-up lists or membership sites. Bloggers will sign up fast in the hope of taking a slice of the pie they just bought into, without realizing that the A-list blogger they just copped a commission for has virtually cleaned up in the first day or two and the scraps left for everyone else are not worth fighting over.
So where does that leave the blogger wanting to make a lot of that all-important money online from blogging?
Without a pot to pee in, usually. These are the failures in the home business market and statistically they fall in to the top 95-99% of all Internet marketers who try to get started in this business.
Those Who Do Make Money Online
Those that do make money online know what the A-listers do not tell their readers.
They know that the kind of traffic they need to attract comes purely from the search engines and not the social media.
Why is this?
Because its targeted to the keywords their blogs and websites are optimized for, which in turn means that they are visiting the site because the site is (or at least appears to be) offering what they are looking for. In the case of PPC ads, the targeted traffic is much more likely to click them because they will be served to a fully optimized site as being totally relevant to that site's topic.
They will also be more likely to convert into sales for the advertiser, meaning the site will be served the top priced ads. If the site is selling affiliate products, again, the traffic will have turned up at the site because that is what they were searching for and will be more disposed to buy.
The best part is once a site is generating a large volume of regular, search traffic, advertisers are much more interested in buying space on your site, because that traffic converts, period!
Summary
So now you know the difference from those that do and those that do not know how to make money with a home business where the Internet is your main source of income.

When you plan to make money the best advice is to stick to the plan until it rewards you with success!
